Islamic studies
TA acknowledges the tremendous need for imparting Islamic teachings to children and youth as they mature. This program covers many areas of Islamic Studies: tafseer, hadeeth, tawheed, fiqh, seerah, dua memorization and general etiquette relating to different circumstances. Activities and crafts follow each lesson to enhance the individual’s understanding further.
Islamic Studies Program
TA Islamic Studies program is a comprehensive course based on the Quran & Sunnah, designed explicitly for Canadian Muslim children. Students will be taught proper Islamic belief & develop Islamic mannerisms in a positive and stress-free environment by connecting children with their deen.
Alhamdulillaah, TA’s Islamic studies Program is offered to students of 4 years to 18 years old.
Fee: $50/month
Course Outline
The course will provide students with essential and foundational Islamic knowledge inclusive of the following branches:
Student are placed in classes according to their age.
Levels K to Youth Group (ages 4 to 18)
- Islamic studies (seerah, hadeeth, Islamic history, stories, etc.)
- Remembrance of Allaah (duas and more)
- Names of Allaah (Asma ul Husna)
- Learning to pray salah ages 7 & up
- Selected Surah Qur’an memorization (ages 4-13)
- Understanding Quran: Clear Quran kids
- Islamic manners (Akhlaaq)
- Discussions on current issues in the light of Quran & Sunnah
Weekend Islamic School
TA Weekend Islamic School offers a combination of Islamic Studies and Quranic Reading.
Students enrolled in Weekend Islamic School (Islamic studies + Quran) will attend from 9:45 AM to 2:00 PM.
We are accepting new students for the 2023-2024 academic year—limited spots.
Terms and Conditions:
Islamic studies’ program has two terms in the academic year.
- Term 1: November to April
- Term 2: May to October
Registration is open for New academic year starting November 2023:
- Program Tuition:
- Level K to YG – Term fee: $300 ($50/ month)
- The fee is paid monthly
- Enrolment in the program is based on academic terms (November to April and May to October)
- No cancellations/withdrawals are allowed during the term.
- The fee is paid based on enrolment in the program; if a student cannot attend, the fee must be paid for the entire term.
